This is an impressive hotel, even more so after its recent refurbishment, situated opposite the Opera and just a five minute walk from the railway station.

With its turn of the century décor, the hotel has a distinctive charm as well as being equipped with many modern amenities. All 44 air-conditioned and soundproofed rooms have bath, shower and WC, TV, telephone, hairdryer and minibar. Buffet breakfast is included. The hotel will be closed for renovation from 1 Dec 14 to 1 May 15

Built in 1898, a tone's throw from the Place de la Comedie and station, this was once the residence of Queen Elena of Italy and still preserves something of its comfort, charm and elegance, including the original hydraulic-powered lift.

With its shady interior garden and outdoor swimming-pool and all the amenities of a 4 star hotel, it is a verdant, tranquil haven in the heart of this vibrant city. There are 80 spacious air-conditioned rooms, all with bath or shower, wc, satelite tv, safe, minibar, iron and trouser-press.
