The Côte d'Or contains two distinguished regions: The Côte de Beaune for its excellent white wines and the Côte de Nuits for its famous red wines.
The guide/driver will take you through the vineyards; explain the techniques used to care for the vines throughout the year in the famous winemaking villages of the Côte de Nuits. The vineyard tour is followed by at least one guided cellar visit and comprehensive wine tasting where it all comes together.
Tour Number 1 - Côte de Nuits-2:30 pm : We travel through the vineyards of the villages of Marsannay-La-Côte, Fixin, Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Vougeot, Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges on the small vine roads and the Route des Grands Crus. A cellar visit and wine tasting follow the vineyard tour. Departure 2:30 pm from the Dijon train station (Dijon Ville). Available Monday to Saturday, duration approximately 2 to 2 ½ hours. Tour Number 2 - Extended Côte de Nuits, 2 winery stops - 10 am : Visit the vineyards of the Côte de Nuits and compare wines and cellars during two cellar visits and comprehensive wine tastings. Departure: 10 am from the Dijon train station (Dijon Ville), Place Darcy. Monday to Saturday, duration approximately 3 to 3 ½ hours. Price: £51 per person.
